Anyplace Control is a remote control program that can display a screen of another computer (via internet or network) on your screen. The program allows you to use your mouse and keyboard to control the other PC remotely. It means that you can work on a remote computer, as if you were sitting in front of it, right from your current location. The program allows you to work with different remote computers simultaneously, from anywhere in the world.

Essentially, after the software is installed one can access remote PCs from anywhere, provided both machines have Anyplace Control running. For example, a vacationer in Hawaii can use a laptop PC to gain access to office computer that stores important documents. A working mom can use her office computer to see whether kids are using home PC for doing homework or playing FarCry.

Also the software can be used to provide helpdesk services to multiple PCs located in different places - it could be cost conscious small businesses or elderly relatives who are not PC-proficient and frequently run into "problems" they can't understand or fix.

Anyplace Control comes with two modules. The Admin Module (often called Viewer) displays screens of the remote computers and allows the user to control the remote PC with a mouse and keyboard. The Host Module (often called Server) communicates with the administrator computer, transmits screenshots, and executes commands from the mouse and keyboard of the admin computer. This module is installed on each computer that has to be available for remote controlling. That's it. No need to setup "proxies", "ports", "sockets", "configure network settings" and perform other manipulations that are not easily understood by an average person.

• Working through firewalls and DHCP support - The software can work through routers and firewalls, and has support for dynamic IP addresses.


• Security Features - Anyplace Control has a large number of security features that restrict access to the program and defend the computer from an unauthorized remote access.


• Logging feature - Host Module has a logging feature. All actions can be written to the log file, which can be used for the determination as to who has connected and when.


• Run as a Service - Host Module can work as a system service. This lets you log a user on or off remotely.


• Modes of working with a remote screen - There are 2 modes of working with a remote screen: "View Mode" and "<em>Control Mode</em>". View mode allows viewing only the remote screen. In Control mode you can additionally control the remote screen by keyboard and mouse.


• Display modes - Screen image of a remote computer can be presented in one of the three modes: Full-Screen, Windowed and Scaled. Full-Screen mode permits you the viewing of the remote screen on the entire screen of your display and Windowed mode - in a window. There is also a possibility to scale the image to the size of a window (Scaled mode).


• Selecting of Color Palette - Anyplace Control supports any screen resolutions with the color depth beginning from 8 to 32 bit. By default, Host Module transmits screenshots with the color depth providing highest possible speed of screenshot refreshing. Yet you can set the quality of transmitted image manually.
